Any good restaurants in La Jolla/UTC area?

I'm turning 21 in a few days and my parents and little brother are taking me out to eat. I'm looking for a *nice* restaurant in the La Jolla/UTC area, but I'm a university student so my experience with restaurants around here is limited to the UTC food court. If it helps any, I've been in the mood for surf-and-turf lately, but I love Japanese food, too. Also, as it's my 21st, it would help if you know any places with a good drink selection. ;)
