My electric dryer takes hours to dry one load! The lint trap is not filled up.How do I remove the lint?

It seems like the dryer is just steaming the clothes. Water sometimes appears on the floor, and the back (thingy attached to the wall and back of dryer) is wet inside. The dryer is less than threeyears old, Whirlpool brand. Please help!!
