normal window gl has about 5-7% compression-tension tolerance, that means every point of the gl can be compressed or pulled 5-7% before it cracks, of course, thicker gl would be less "flexible" as the outside layers would have to compress more in order to flex the same as thin gl, and bigger gl could visibility flex more than small panels. other things that affect it is temperature, any additives in the glass etc.
