Metformin linked to pregancy?

Metformin reduces insulin levels which does helps some women conceive, especially PCOS suffers (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). You did the right thing by using a backup during the first month. Birth control must be taken daily preferably at the same time everyday and a back up method should be used for a month after taking any antibiotics. Birth control can mimic the symptoms of pregnancy, feeling hungry more often and weight gain are ociated with taking birth control. It is very important for her to exercise and watch her diet since her appetite has increased. Some women are also put on birth control to help regular menstruation, I'm not sure if she had a monthly period prior to starting birth control, but it usually takes a good 3 months of being on the pill to help regulate the cycle. Of course taking a pregnancy test doesn't hurt, but most over the counter pregnancy tests are only 90+% accurate after a period is at least 1 week late.
