I recently took my 2005 Kia Sedona to have it's oil changed. It has been about 14000 since the last one(yes, I know that's bad). The place I took it to refused to do it becasue of "sludge" around the filter and on the dipstick. My car is running fine with no noises. One person has told me to use an engine flush and then change the oil, but the guy at Autozone told me not to b/c that could cause even more problems. Before you answer, I want everyone to know what I'velready done. I already turned my system restore to off mode, I installed the virus definitions, and ran a full virus scan in normal and safe mode. After that, Norton Internet Security still couldn't remove the Hacktool virus. I'm a little apprehensive about trying to install more antivus programs that may a negetively effect the Norton Internet Security. To add to bikertrash's excellent advice, the size of tool to remove the caliper from the bracket is 12mm. Once removed, the size of socket needed to remove the caliper bracket is 15mm. I would recommend using a 1/2" drive socket and johnson bar to remove the caliper bracket, since it will be tight to loosen. Hope this helps.

I was over charged at the cinema who lied to me and were rude what should i do?

I rebuilt a 75 gallon aquarium and added two new panes. Could it be to tall?

A friend gave me a 75 gallon pet store fish aquarium. You know the low front pane, high back pane, and divided in the center deal. And the sides were higher then the front and back. Okay I rebuilt the tank and removed the front pane, back pane, and the divider. I had two new pieces cut to fit the front and the back. About 52 X 26. So I asked a local pet shop (mostly fish) if there was anything wrong with it. He said I might be to tall and all the pressure will be at the top of the tank. And im adding a brace in the center for that. But is there any other way I can reinforce the tank so I could get a long use out of it. The tank is now about 120 to 130 gallons. The tank is 52L X 26T X 18W. The sides and bottom panes are 1/2 inch thick and the front and back are 3/8 inch thick. This tank is all plate gl. Just for some extra info I had the tank full for of water for about 72 hours str8. Didn't have any leaking or pressure cracks or anything. Again any information that could help me make this a long lasting tank would be great.

So I found out 2 and a half weeks ago that I am pregnant ... it was unplanned, I am only 19 years old. I have Polysystic Ovaries but I don't have any of the symptom's of the syndrome and I have only been with my boyfriend for 6 months or so and was on the contraceptive pill for the first two months but then it wasn't working out for me so the doctor decided to take me of it, wait until my periods were regular again and then try me on a different pill, so I have fallen pregnant in between treatments within two cycles, so fertility clearly isn't a problem for me, but I have heard that PCOS is something that doesn't get better it only stabilises or gets worse so I am worried that if I have a medical abortion I will not be able to conceive again. Does anybody know what having a termination is like, and if so how did you feel afterwards? In my deepest heart of hearts I do agree with abortion so this is a mive decision for me, but on the other hand my boyfriend to be honest is not being supportive at all, saying that if I keep the baby then we are over but he will help me and come to scans and stuff but the last thing he wants is a family, he says he is not ready and has so much to do in his life before having children, which I do respect but he is not seeming to think of me and how I am feeling in all this. I love him but I did not think he would be like that at all, I'm devastated. 13-month-old with low red blood cell count?

At my daughter's routine 12-month-old checkup, the results of her blood work came back with a low hemoglobin count (around 8.2). We were referred to a pediatric hematologist who performed further blood work. Once again, her hemoglobin came back at 8.2 but absolutely everything else (including iron, b vitamins, folate, white blood cells, etc) came back normal. This took place about 5 days after the initial blood test. Her doctor suspects a condition called diamond blackfan anemia, but I am personally skeptical because it is so rare. My daughter is showing zero signs of being anemic or ill...she is extremely active, never tired, and looks very healthy. She has had a cold on and off for the last month or so, and I'm wondering if her body's suppression of the virus(es) could be contributing to her low red blood cell count. Also, they want to perform a bone marrow biopsy, which scares me half to death. Does anyone have any experience with a bone marrow biopsy on such a small child?

I wouldn't turn my dryer on. I've lost random things in my dryer lint trap and I use a vaccuum to get them out. If you use the skinny ended hose attachment you should be able to catch the lighter without sucking it into your vaccuum too. Good luck!

here are some tips: eat healthier and try to lower the amount of calories u eat. cut off junk food(thats the MOST important) just think about u getting skinnier :) also EXERCISE!! go for walks before breakfast(minimum about 25 min.) and during evening time(about 30 minutes). So that way, it will be about an hour of walking. If u don't want to go outside, u can just go on the treadmill. Also, do push ups/curl ups. LSU lost their last game of the season, which was their second loss, and they still went to the national championship game. UF is still in it. In fact if they win out, they will probably be in the national championship game. If OSU wins the Penn State game, then UF will get in above OSU because of the last two seasons. The big 12 winner is probably in no matter what, even with a loss, so then you will have it be between UF and USC, in which case UF gets the nod with a much tougher schedule. The only way they don't get in is if someone in the big 12 and penn state run the table, which isn't likely for both to happen.

Ok so my sister ped away on march 19th 09. She just gave birth to a baby girl two months before and there was no known problems that she had. The night she died she got off the phone with my mom and only an hour or two later her husband who is a firefighter calls and says that she fell in the shower and hit her head. She had a huge walk in shower and there was nothing in there for her to hit her head on but the floor. So my parents load up in their vehicle and head two hours to her house. Not long after I find out she is in the hospital I get another call from my oldest sister telling me that she has died and my parents found out when they were on their way. When they got to the hospital she was supposingly gone for bout 2 hours but her hair was completly dry (she had very long thick hair) and there was no bruises anywhere on her body to indicate that she had fallen. Her husbands family was sittin in the waiting room laughin and crackin jokes not one tear in their eye. My other sisters husband heard his mother say how she went to her house and there was no blood anywhere in the shower. So we start wonderin how she had time within that two hours to go to her house. At the funeral they wouldnt let any of my sisters family see the baby. My nephew who is 15 overheard his mother talkin about how she went and cleaned her house that night. She has never cleaned her house for her. They didn't even cry at the funeral and her husband took her wedding rings off and kept them. To this day they won't let us see the baby and they have changed their numbers so we can't call. Even his brother who used to have the biggest crush on me wont talk to me anymore. The autopsy report says there is nothing there but they had to have something so they are saying it was her heart. Not to mention they were having prooblems in their marriage anyway and she wanted to leave him.

Driving my husbands car?

They're not good poems and I usually click them off without an answer but not always. Sometimes I answer them because I feel like it's important that somebody who's not a teen reads them, or tries. Then I will comment that I won't critique their writing because it isn't fair to discourage them. I tell them to keep reading and keep writing their feelings. Charliane Harris, the Sookie Stackhouse books are fabulous!! I've read all of them and will no doubt read them again. The series True Blood is based on these books, so if you want to know more about the books look up True Blood and you'll get a vague idea, but the books are way more in depth than the series and some characters are different too.

What is this font called?

The 'R' looks to be something created separately (i.e. not part of the font but perhaps drawn in Illustrator or Photoshop.) The script itself looks very similar to either 'Shelley' or 'Snell'. There are a billion script fonts out there but at least these two will give you a start.

Daycare or No Daycare?

Why is it that daycare is now the norm? I know that often times it is necessary for families to have two incomes but for those that can afford to have a parent a home with the kids, they often get criticized for not having their kids in daycare. I was an at home mom for four years from the time my son was born until my daughter was 18 months old, and believe I got my fair share of criticism, mostly form other mothers. I had to go to work when my ex and I broke up and I agree that it is good for my kids to go to daycare a couple days a week but at one point the daycare saw more of my kids than I did and it just rubs me the wrong way. Not to mention it seems there is an explosion of bratty kids that has erupted in recent years, does this have anything to do with the increase in daycare usage? Personally I would rather be poor than to have others raising my kids, we have so little time before they are grown. But naturally, kids need time with other kids. I would love to hear others thoughts on this, please discuss;)

I don't know what to study in university?

don't go into psychology. its an interesting field but you cant do anything with it until you have a doctors in psychology. optometrist would be interesting, i dont know what courses you need to take for it though. i'm in my third year of electrical engineering and its incredibly time consuming with a very strong emphasis on math and science. Only about 20% of people continue in this degree after their first year because of the commitment it demands. however, i can't imagine any subject being more interesting.

Lifting weights is a good idea. I lift two or three times a week along with jujitsu. Nothing heavy, but enough to stay in shape. I also walk or jog every day.

You are partially true in your statement. My husband and I have taken care of our family without istance from the government such as welfare. We have both worked to support our families. Others on the other hand continue to expect handouts from our government. Even though we have and are still having a very hard time financially my husband and I refuse to seek help from anyone. How can I stop skipping school/being lazy?

I had days like that...... Of course, I kept reminding myself that if I decided to skip school or become a lazy in my school work that I could enjoy working at McDonalds for the rest of my life. There's nothing like going to work at a place full of disgusting food, pimply teenagers, and disgruntled clients. Ahhhhh........ That IS the life. : ( Please reconsider your actions. How do I stop binge eating?

Recently, due to my depression and OCD, I've started to binge eat. It's don't know if it's because I can't control how much I eat or I'm just apathetic and WANT to eat. i think it's a mix, leaning more towards the latter. The thing is, for the past FOUR years, I've been forcing myself to eat like 1500 calories a day (or less), only having more than that occasionally. Over the past few months I've gone from 125 pounds to 137 pounds at 5 foot 9. I want to get back down to 125, but I can't stop eating. I don't know what to do. Also, when I feel like I've eaten too much, I can't function. I can barely get out of bed.

Principal won't let me go to my boyfriend's homecoming.?

My boyfriend and I have been dating since I was in highschool. I graduated in 2009 and we've been dating since 2008. He is a year younger then me but 2 grades lower. He is currently a senior in highschool and his homecoming is coming up soon and I want to be able to go with him.I wasn't able to go to last years homecoming or junior prom with him because the principal of the school decided THAT year that if you didn't go to that specific school currently then you were not allowed to go to the dances. So that means if you graduated already or even if you are still in highschool but went to a different school you still weren't allowed to go. Out of my four years in highschool we never had this rule until last year. I think this is ridiculous, what should i do? I was thinking about e-mailing the principal but i tried that last year for junior prom & I even had a parent call and it did absolutely nothing. What are my next steps? I am not looking to just go reminisce at my old highschool.. I want to share these memories with my boyfriend and be apart of his things like he was at mine. Plus I dont think its fair what so ever that every other highschool in the school's district is allowed to bring an outside guest but this particular school is not?.. Can an employer in California force me to use vacation time so that my accrual can comply with a new PTO cap?

My employer has changed the cap on PTO as of this year and is asking me to take vacation time because I have far more hours accrued than the new cap allows. Is this legal? Is my rental property safe?

I live in a two story apartment building on the bottom floor, and the apartment above me has been leaking water into mine, which has caused water damage under my laminate floors. I am living with my ex-boyfriend. We broke up Nov.2008, and all because he would talk extremely abusive to me. I've asked him to leave repeatedly, and although he is almost moved out, he's taking his time, and acting really nice with me lately. Buying me dinner every so often, paying for a few things here and there...but not household stuff. He's being more affectionate than ever before, too. But when I want to go see my family or a few aquaintances I have, he gets extremely mean with me. Says things like, remember those who are always there for you...because you are going to need them. Guilting me into not having a good time...or making me feel as if I shouldn't go. We used to fight about my going to see friends a lot...my family doesn't like him at all. I hardly have any friends because of him. Also, he surrounds himself around me and my 2 sons more, as if he likes to engage in family time...more than before. He is an artist. A toy designer and illustrator, graphic designer...you name it he's got it. He's getting famous all around the world: London, Japan, Australia...he does awesome work, that I admire very much. He stopped the physical abuse about 2 years ago, but the verbal and psychological abuse continued...sometimes even to this day. It's on and off with his tirades, mostly because I tell him that he is being offensive, and also, I ignore him and that gets him even more insecure about himself- he develops a baby personality and backs off. He does suffer from a clinical disorder. Seen 2 psychologists already...but hasn't been clinically diagnosed. Only reason I know he has a disorder is because one of those psych's is my Stepmother. I go through feelings of I admire him, I love him...then I really want him out of my life. We are still intimate, but don't call each other boyfriend or girlfriend anymore. Most of his friends, especially in the art field, don't know I even have children and am divorced. He is also divorced with a son. I try to stop being intimate with him, but then he does and says everything so nicely and gentlemanly for the next few days, that I regress to my old habits of giving in. I haven't asked him to stop packing, because I believe this will be good for him...he's never lived alone...but he then hurts my feelings when we have a disagreement about something,and then says that he will not want to stay in touch with someone like me after he leaves my home. He thinks I'm not a "good girl" according to his eyes...oh yeah--he doesn't pay rent, or food, or utilities...he complains almost everyday, until I call him on it...then he blames it on something else. And he's always talking about other girls he knows that don't have big ****, that show through their blouses, and dresses like a Banana Republic model. He dresses like that too. We've known each other since 1995, and been living together since 2004. Am I afraid to move on? On top of my issue in not knowing how a man should treat a woman? I don't mean spoiling, I mean respect, consideration and loyalty. I really need advice, because I don't want to mess up something that could be good for us in the long run...but then again, how can it be good, if he's behaving cruelly now? I don't care about money, as I'm paying for everything anyway...but my heart aches, because I think I'll be losing a friend soon too!

She basically just told me I am a dumb because I am not subject to obsessive impulses of perfection where everything must be in a perfect order or else I go insane. She is a ridiculous neat freak and busy body and overall is incredibly particular about the way things "need" to be. I still consider myself intelligent though. She is basically telling me that I don't hold an ounce of intelligence simply because I am not like her in terms or organization. It's not even that things get out of control in my room to the point that I can't find things, so I see no reason to obsess over it; i simply am apathetic about things as unimportant as alphabetizing my room or clothing. I suppose my real question would be am I still intelligent even though I don't care about organization to the point that I am obsessive?

How do I get over the depression caused by college admissions?

The best thing about modern times is that there is always an option in your case. The only thing to really worry about is financial aid. Education is so important and I know from personal experience that some things can get really depressing. But as long as there is reason to live then there is reason to better your life. I had a low GPA out of highschool too, so what I did is I went to an online college (university of Phoenix) and my GPA is so much better now. I'm graduating this June with an ociates and going to a University this fall. If there is a will there is a way. You obviously want to go to college, so there is your will, no you just have to find the way. Good luck!

VTEC not kicking in????????

I asked this question already from my friends profile... but I have a 89 crx hf with a 92 Si conversion... one guy told me that D16a engines don't kick VTEC in... but to be honest i think i have a D16z6 I just said D16a because i didn't think it would matter that much.. my question is how can i make the VTEC kick in... ive been ped 6100 rpms so its not like i havent tried.. some guy said I should buy the 92 civic Si ECU then it might work.. any other ideas... maybe missing something?

I had an ectopic pregnancy in july last year,my tube wasent removed and it was repaired i didnt have a diagnosis just one of those things.The docter said i was very healthy down below tubes looked fine etc...Well it was 9 months ago and my husband returns from the army again next month and wqe want to try but i feel very apprehensive about it i feel alot of fear is this long enough to wait for healing etc...?i had an ultrasound 3 months after the op that the doc said was fine.I have heard if the scarrings bad it would have been visable then is this true?
